The row of old shophouses are outstanding at this moment, in the future it will be overtake by the changes on the empty land.  

The original identity of the petaling street was overtaking by the prominent overhead, losing its authenticity.

The open space became the background of Jalan Sultan, transition of different period of building along the street.
